Juyo Nihonto - Samurai sword nr.: Z-D3

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword.
A Koto Kamakura Naginata Naoshi Wakizashi with a beautiful signed Koshirae and fawless blade in good polish with 31e NBTHK Juyo papers.
This Wakizashi is Mumei, and described to OSAFUNE MOTOSHIGE Bizen school.
Motoshige of Osafune in Bizen province span the long period from 1310 till 1368. This sword is a early work from him. He was one of the 3 briljant pupils from Sadamune, "SANSAKU " ( Motoshige - Nobukuni - Tansu Kunimitsu ) and Sadamune is told to be the son of the famous Masamune.
Motoshige's swords are predicated to Saijo O-Wazamono, the sharpest swords made.
A Kataochi Gunome Hamon goes on the entyre blade, with Jinie & Nie and Sunagashi. The Jihada is an Mokume with Utsuri , the blade has 1 mekugi-ana. The Koshirae and all parts are in a perfect condition and ensuite and signed by the famous Oguri Yoshinao. He made this Koshirae when he was 67 years old. He was a pupil from Hamano Chokuzui ( Naoyuki). Yoshinao was the most prominent of the Oguri School and worked at 1800 period.
All fittings with dragons & waves in high quality.
The Habaki is a 2 piece one goldfoiled.
A realy perfect fawles blade and perfect Koshirae and Shirasaya.

Nihonto - Samurai sword nr.: Z-N1

A Shinto Katana signed, Hitachi No Kami MUNESHIGE. / Motte Nanbantetsu Saku No.
With NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon papers with Shirasaya in good polish. Hitachi Kami Muneshige Shodai (first generation) from the Settsu Province was a direct student from Sukehiro in the Kanbun Shinto period (1650-1670). The most swords he produced around 1660. He made very good swords, allso this blade is full with activity's and fawless. He made this blade from Western steel (Nanbantetsu) imported by the Portugese and Dutch. This steel was due the Kanbun Shinto period very popular but allso very difficult to get and expencive. The Hamon is Gunome Midare met Nie en Nioi and Sunagashi with Kinsuji. The Jihada is a pronounced Ko-Itame Hada with Jinie and Chikei. The Blade is Ubu and has 1 Mekugi-ana. The Habaki is a goldplated one.

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword.
A signed Shinto Wakizashi with NBTHK Hozon papers, Izumi No Kami Kunisada in shirasaya from the Settsu Provincie in Shirasaya, new Japanese polish , Hamon Gunome Suguha with JiNie & Nioi , Kunisada worked around 1660-1680 and made good blades.

The blade is Ubu, one Mekugi-ana and the Habaki is a 2 piece one goldplated.

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword.
Beautiful Shinto DaiSho set in perfect Samurai-style mountings.
The Dai is Ubu, with 2 mekugi-ana and Mumei , it commes with NBTHK Hozon papers, attributed to MONJU.
The Sho is Ubu, with 1 mekugi-ana and Mumei.
Both blades in good condition and good polish.
The katana has a Gunome Hamon, the wakizashi has a Suguha Hamon, the Koshirae in perfect condition, Shinshinto period.
Tsuka's perfect, Menuki are copper with flowers, Tsuba's are iron in tachi shape, and F&K are Mino-Goto in Shakudo with gold highlights.
Both blades comes in very good polish.

A DaiSho Koshirae with Tsunagi's (Wood copie from the blades to hold all fittings together)

A very nice and good DaiSho set with tiger motif in silver, The Saya's are with leather (Naname-kizasmi), all fittingen in good condition and good quality, the Fuchi are signed: Rakusei Toshiharu with Kao. Toshiharu lived in Kyoto and worked as a guard in the Nijo-jo castle in the late Edo periode. The Tsuba's are Mokko-Gata shape in Shakudo with Nanako, and have Kiri Mons and dragons in gold. The Kozuka and Kogai are Shakudo with Nanako, Draken motif in gold with NTHK papers.

Unsigned late Edo period ( ca. 1790-1800) katana with NBTHK Hozon Papers, attributed to the Fujiwara Takada School, in good polish with a ShiraSaya and very good koshirae.

The Fujiwara Takada school made swords after the Yamashiro Rai style.
There is a Hamon Gunome-Midare with lots of activity and some Chikei, The Jihada is a Itame Gunome-hada, The blade is Ubu and has 1 original Mekugi-ana.
The Koshirae is a very good one in very good condition. The Habaki is a 2 piece one and gold-foiled.
This blade is in good polish, without any flaws and it comes in a very nice Koshirae

Nihonto - Samurai sword nr.: Z-TWK 6

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword.
A signed Muromachi Koto Hirazukuri Aikuchi Tanto HIROMASA from the Soshu school accompanied by a Tokubetsu Kicho Token certificate, with a very nice Koshirae and fawless healthy blade in good polish.

There were several generations of Hiromasa in Soshu province working from the middle 14th to the early 16th centuries. The first generation is beleved to have been the brother of Hiromitsu, one of the direct pupils of Masamune. Like Hiromitsu many works by the family have hitatsura hamon, but this healthy blade is in typical Soshu Suguha style with a characteristic Soshu Funagata ( ship-shaped ) nakago, indicating a probably early generation. The triple Hollyhock Mon on the menuki is that of the Tokugawa Shogun Family, who were particulary attached to Soshu work since Kamakura was the headquarters ot the firts samurai government.
A Suguha Hamon with nie-deki & Nie, the Kitae is a fine Itame with small Ji-nie and pale Bo-Utsuri. 2 mekugi-ana, and Ubu, The Habaki is with thick Silver foil.
A realy perfect fawles blade and nice Koshirae with gold Kirikane inlay and silver Aoi Mon Menuki in very good condition.

A beautiful Papered late Shinto ( 1780 ) Hira-zukuri Tanto in Tensho mounts attributed to AIZU MICHITOKI from RIKUOKU Province , ( Aizu city ) , by NBTHK Hozon papers.
The Tanto has a very good polish and nice good Tensho Aikuchi Koshirae.
The Habaki is copper with gold foil.
This Tanto is unsigned, Ubu and has 1 Mekuki ana.
Sword commes in a nice Koshirae, the Saya and Tsuka Same are in black laquer.
The Menuki are dragons, all other parts from polished buffalo horn.
This is a complete set in nice and good fawles condition.

Papered by KOTOUKEN KAJIHARA.
The sword has a perfect polish and Shira Saya.
The Habaki is from copper.
It is unsigned and has 1 Mekuki ana.

Sword commes in Shirasaya and Koshirae, the Saya is dark green with inlay Mother of Pearl.
The Tsuba is iron with Wine-ranks, the F&K are Shakudo / Nanako, with ShiShi dogs, The Menuki are Roosters.
The complete set in nice and good condition.

A very powerfull big Showa period Wakizashi , unsigned , ubu and 1 Mekugi-ana, and with a nice rare Pilot Aikuchi mount ,in a very good polish , Hamon Gunome Midare with Nie and Nioi. The Jihada is Itame with Jinie. This blade was keptured by the Kamikaze pilot in WW-II when the plane was shot out of the air. This is a rare blade, Showa made , especialy made for the pilot, engraved a Bo and Hi include a Sankrit symbol, it has a few small Ware and a chip out of the cutting-edge.

Nihonto - Samurai sword nr.: Z-TWK 3

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword.
This Wakizashi is signed and dated, signed by father and son SADAHIRO and KUNITSUGU and dated 1710 , with NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon papers.

Sadahiro & Kunitsugu from Settsu ( Osaka ) made this Sword in 1710, Sadahiro had an age at that time by 78.

This signed and dated Shinto Wakizashi was made in order for Takayanagi, they say he belongs to a Sumo wrestler family , the Sword comes with a Shirasaya and a beautiful Koshirae. This blade is incredible thick, it messures 1.2 cm thiknes and has its original First polish with Ubu-ha.
A Gunome Midare Hamon goes on the entyre blade, with Jinie & Nie & Tobiyaki & Sunagasi. The Jihada is a coarse Ko-Mokume with Jinie, the blade has 1 mekugi-ana and is Ubu. The Koshirae and all parts are in a perfect condition and ensuite . The Habaki is silver foiled.
A realy perfect outstanding blade and perfect Koshirae and Shirasaya.

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword.
Koto Mumei Nagamaki Naoshi Katana from the Muromachi period with NBTHK Hozon papers , described to SHIMADA YOSHISUKE 1e Generation and a special made ensuite Koshirae and ShiraSaya with Sayagaki from Mr. Tanobe. It is a fawless blade in excelent Japanese polish.
Yoshisuke is the GISUKE, or founder from the Shimada school.
The blade has a wide Suguha Gunome Hamon with Nie & Nioi and Sunagashi and 3 mekugi-ana. The blade has Bo-hi and the big kissaki has a length by 17 cm.
The Saya is black laquer, all parts and in a perfect condition, the Habaki is gold foiled.
The Tsuba is a Iron one, F&K and Menuki are Shakudo with nanako, designed with Dragons.

A beautiful ShinShinto period Hira-zukuri Tanto in very nice full silver mounts.
The Tanto has a good polish , and nice good ensuite full Silver Koshirae.
The Habaki is a 2 piece one from copper with gold foil.
This Tanto is unsigned, Sureage and has 1 Mekuki ana. There is a small ware in front of the habaki.
Sword commes in a nice Koshirae, the Saya is inlayed with gold laquer and some leafs in mother of pearl. The Tsuka Same has a leather wrapping.
The Menuki are gold plated Tigers, all other parts in full silver engraved with tigers. The Kozuka and Kogai are Shakudo with gold Temple dogs and a Mon.
This is a complete set in nice and good condition.

The blade has a nice Suguha Hamon with Nie and Nioi, 3 mekugi-ana in the nakago.
The Saya is coffered with painted flowers in perfect condition, Tsuba, F&K and Kojiri are signed and all parts have a very high quality and in a perfect condition, the Habaki is gold foiled.

Signed ; Dewa no kami Sukeshige, he worked in the Shinto period and the best pupil of the second generation Kawachi no kami Kunisuke.
A Chu-Suguha Hamon goes on the entyre blade, with Jinie^& Nie and Hotsure & Sunagashi. The Jihada is an Osaka Ko-Mokume Hada, the blade has 1 mekugi-ana and is Ubu. The Koshirae and all parts and in a perfect condition and ensuite from the Goto School.
The Tsuba , F&K , Menuki and Kuzuka & Kogai in nanako/shakudo with gold dragons.
A realy perfect fawles blade and perfect Koshirae.

A Koto/Shinto Mumei Wakizashi with a gold inlay cuttingtest, the Hamon is Suguha. The blade has no flaws and is in good polish and has a nice Bo-hi, It is a Sureage blade with 1 Mekugi-Ana.

Cuttingtest Datum: Kanbun February 18th, 1672

Tester: Yamano KANJURO

Test: 2 people piled up, and cut trough the middle in one blow (Futatsudo Setsu Raku)

Cutting Test: this is a shigri-Mei (The blade was a Katana and shortened, but they want to safe the cuttingtes signature and put it in the shortened Nakago)

Nobutaka lives t the late Muromachi period till the Momoyama period ( ca. 1550- 1590)

A Kanbun Shinto period (about 1673) Wakizashi with NTHK papers, signed by SHINANO NO KAMI FUJIWARA NOBUYOSHI , Nidai (2nd Generation) from the Yamashiro provincie in a very good polish, the Blade is Sureage with 2 Mekugi-ana, possible that this blade was reshaped for a marine-mount WWII, the Hamon is Gunome Midare with Jiie and Nioi, Kinsei and Sunagasi. The Jihada is Ko-Itame with Jinie and Chikei.
Nobuyoshi lives in the KanbunShinto period (ca. 1673) in Yamashiro Province. He is a Chu-Jo Saku smith and has 60 points in the Hawley. He also lived in Osaka, his real name was Takai Kinsaburo. the kiku Mon was only engraved by the first 3 smith. The blade has a nice Koshirae in good condition.
